Signal for Help Program Launch

Buslines Group proudly supports the launch of “Signal for Help”, a BusNSW program aimed at supporting healthy minds within the NSW Bus and Coach Industry.

In recent years, our industry has witnessed some of our valued employees facing challenges that have led them to leave. Factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, job pressures, and external difficulties have contributed to this situation. The Signal for Help program aims to address this problem by increasing awareness and reducing the stigma of mental health within the industry, as well as promoting and facilitating early help-seeking.

The program centres around the Signal for Help website, which provides real-life examples that make the program more relatable and relevant to our employees, fostering a sense of connection and understanding. The website also offers essential links to information and resources for managing a wide range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and panic attacks.

By supporting the Signal for Help program, Buslines Group aims to create a nurturing environment that prioritises the mental health of our employees. We firmly believe that by breaking down barriers and encouraging open conversations we can foster a workplace culture that promotes well-being, supports each other, and ensures that nobody feels alone in their journey towards mental wellness.
